Im making a career out of taking breaks from xanga!! but trust me most of the time its highly unintentional....guess there was way tooo much happening to update..(lame excuse but forgive me)...Once again I have been tagged or rather HAD been tagged hehe so I finally decided to work on it now that weve seen both extremely rainy n extremely dry days this year, here are my 10 most memorable rainy day memories.....and you are forbidden from asking me why im watching that movie..I know some of you will still go ahead and ask me but their comment shall be ignored if not deleted!!

1) This once when I was younger I was walking back home on a rainy sunday afternoon...i was about to cross but stopped when i saw this stupid cat in the middle of the road...it had its back to the bus soo it couldnt see it...now normally cats would be my last option for a pet considering I despise them quite a lot..but this one was kinda cute soo I ran to get it out of the way....BAD IDEA!! The bus missed me but the fucking bike being ridden next to it didn't...fractured my leg.....hate cats even more after that!!

2) All the times sitting at home when parents are out, staring out of the window...chai in one hand...a cigarette in the other and a book on my lap.........ahh good times they were!!

3) Like a lot of others who got tagged mustve mentioned the walks on the beach with your date while its raining...not giving a fuck about lightining striking you cause in a way your already hit by it!!

4) Shooting for rain sequences theyre always too much fun even though its artificial rain....watching models in white getting wet is just a whole new feeling hehe!!

5) Playing any sport in the rain...suck at most of them but you stop caring and thats the best part!!

6) Well memories dont always have to be good....most of the accidents I've had were in the rain...an example is point 1....but the worst was when my friends bike i was sitting on skidded.......we both escaped with minor injuries but somehow my hand hit the silencer dont ask me how it happened cuz i dont know myself but it did...the scar remains even today!!

7) Movie marathons with friends and alcohol! (well lots n lots of alcohol)

8) Cuddling up in my bunglow with a date in lonavla!! nothing beats this one!...the mother almost killed me when she found out but it was fuckin worth every bit of it!!

9) Blogging or basically just writing anything at 2 in the night sitting by the window while the rain unleashes its fury on my part of town!!

10) Watching people fight on the road when its raining.....no im not a very nice guy when it comes to such matters...im the guy youll see standing right in the front cheering them all the way!!

Soo ya those were the 10 blah blah blah.....theres something about these tags you know....you find out soo much unmentioned stuff about a person while reading it....yeah..thats killer!!

DON'T QUIT!

When things go wrong as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer, with its twists and turns
As everyone of us sometimes learns
And many a failure turns about
When he/she might have won had he/she stuck it out
Don't give up though the pace seems slow
You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you MUST NOT QUIT

An ode to the heart that helped me find mine

Lost and found in this caricatured age,

how much is real and how much a haze,

could we live in a dream that stayed forever

or must we bid sleep goodbye today.

Hair that shines on moonlit nights

feels so soft as I run my hands through

and at once I am lost

into a world that is you.

You believed me even though you knew I lied

the angelic stain in a devils heart

I took you for granted when you were near

think I did not that we would part.

Moonlit walks on radiant beaches

eyes seeing nothing but the other

your tender lips brushed against mine

a beating heart I discovered.

I know you see me while I write for you

sitting at peace on some shining star

I shed a tear and make a wish

to see you once like times gone far.

Hold me in your arms once more

for what I feel is true

even if just for a moment

Ill live that moment my lifetime through.

A well overdue post coming up......went on a loong 9-10 day trip with family the outline was sumtin like mumbai-delhi-nainital-kasauni-agra-delhi-mumbai.

It wasnt exactly the booring family trip I expected it to be cuz this time i got to move around the places alone as and when i wanted to so had my share of fun.....now i could give you a day to day detailed report about the whole trip but thatd just be booring, more for me to write than for you to read...so ill jus give you the highlights.....

nainital was lovely a much needed break from the summer heat with the temperature averaging about 10-15 degrees went to sherwood college and the others around, a brilliant atmosphere to study and for people like me one to sit and write for hours on stretch. I visited the nainital zoo for kicks and fell in love with this silver peasant and soo adopted it..I am now the proud owner of a silver pheasant, ill put up a picture soon.

kasauni is known for its sunrise they say if youre lucky the clouds and mist clear up and you actually get to see the sun rising from the himalayas........now if you know me well youll know that im probably the laziest person on the face of this earth if i was sitting and felt thirsty and the glass of water is 2 feet away from me theres a very good chance that id call my maid to get it to me but when it comes to trekking the laziness in me sorta dies soo by 4:00 am I was ready n left alone to trek to the top of this hill to see the sunrise....I reached an army camp at the top and they were actually damn friendly they showed me this shiv mandir of theirs n shivas like my favourite god soo i loved it...at that precise moment the sun started rising...i have never encountered such a serene experience in all my lifetime.....it was just so beautiful....the snow capped himalayas glisteing under the sunrise it felt like the whole nandadevi range had been lit up by a zillion lamps...didnt even feel like documenting it on paper then....

next stop was agra....the highlight was the taj mahal but not in the way your thinking i fell sick in agra cuz of the heat and when i was taken to the taj inspite of my resistance i puked in it right on mumtaz's grave!! now its probably cuz i was sick but I really didnt find the taj mahal all that impressive i mean its a brilliat sign of shah jahans love for his wife n she was extremely lucky to have someone who loved her soo much but if you look at it as a structure its nothing more than a glorified mosque i mean for that time it was probably good but to call it a wonder of the world today is a lil wrong but then again its just my point of view

Reached delhi and used some kickass influence to get into the rashtrapati bhavan what was even cooler was that we were there as the defence ministers guests and if we we fucked around the defence minister would be held responsible!! The PALACE was one of the grandest ive seen!!

Well theres lots more that happened but dont feel like writing anymore soo i guess this is it for now....but before i leave as usual heres another random thought of mine......

If life were a book and everyday a page,
how many pages would read the same,
how many years will it take till we know,
we're making the same mistakes over and over again!!
